Mlamli Mangcala is as comfortable in front of the camera as he is behind the microphone. He has carved his niche as an MC, sports commentator and actor. A qualified radiographer, Mangcala instead chose a career speaking to audiences. The multi-talented performer has hosted many live and recorded events globally and acted on a handful of television programmes.

He acted in a FIFA movie titled More Than Just A Game and has appeared on SABC programmes; Unyana Womntu, Khululeka, Thetha Msawawa, Stokvel as well as Etv's Shooting Stars.

He dabbles on Radio Umhlobo Wenene as a freelance sports presenter and also works part time as a content researcher.

Mangcala says his recent role on award winning drama Intersexions is something he will treasure for the rest of his life especially the professionalism and teamwork displayed by the acting cast and production team. He said producer Rolie was "a humble person and that drives any actor to do his best in making sure that the final product is at its highest level."

He summed up his role in the drama with a quote from the book written by Ellen G White: "What we do not overcome will overcome us and work out our destruction". He adds: ``Secrets are very dangerous and could lead us to total destruction.''

Tina Jaxa

Seasoned actress Tina Jaxa is a household name in local television. She launched her career as Priscilla on Generations and went on to act in several popular soapies and dramas including Isidingo, Montana, Madame and Eve and Stokvel.

Jaxa also played roles in feature films; Oddball Hall, The Bird Can't Fly, I Now Pronounce You Black and White, Beyond Return and Wedding. She is equally gifted on stage and acted in many productions including Skewe Sirkel, directed by Marthinus Basson; Rygrond, directed by Charles Fourie; and Soweto, directed by Phyllis Klotz.

She was recently appointed as a breakfast presenter on SABC's radio station Umhlobo Wenene FM. Jaxa appears in Episode 19 as Nokuthula, Lwazi's long suffering wife.
