Dynamite comes in small packages and this is true of 24 year old actress Moliehi Makobane popularly known as Didie.



Born in Lesotho and raised in Johannesburg Makobane's future was destined for the limelight. She studied at the acclaimed National School of the Arts and graduated with a National Certificate in Dramatic Arts in 2007. This was not enough for ambitious actress who went on to further her craft by obtaining a BA Honours in Dramatic Arts at the University of Witwatersrand majoring in television studies, research projects and theatre directing.

Makobane debuted on television in 2011 on e.tv's, eKasi: Our Stories, in an episode entitled "Abafelokazi" (House of Widows) where she played the supporting role of Pearl. This was followed by her appearance on Mzansi Love's Uncovered. Her latest role is on Intersexions where she plays double crosser Bontle, who dates a sugar daddy to fund her lavish lifestyle while seeing a younger guy at the same time.

"Being a part of Intersexions was not only a privilege but a pleasurable experience. The cast and crew were phenomenal to work with and given another opportunity would work with them again in a blink of an eye," says Makobane.

She has also acted in various theatre productions and directed her first play called Us - A Room Full of Women in 2012. Armed with her talent and the qualifications, there's no doubt the young actress is ready to conquer the entertainment industry.
